Every time Jesus healed someone, the healing was instantaneous. He touched blinded eyes, and they could see. He spoke, and those with crippled legs could walk. He touched deaf ears, and the deaf could hear. This happened in every case except one. Jesus touched the man’s eyes and asked what he saw. He said, “I see men as trees walking.” His eyesight was not clear at first; he couldn’t focus. He didn’t have 20–20 vision. So, Jesus touched him again; and then he saw clearly. Did Jesus lack power? No. Why did He not completely heal the man with His first touch? The only thing I can figure is that He wanted us to take an extra look at this miracle, and I believe the truth taught here is this: Life becomes clearer with time!1)Suffering becomes clearer with time.2)God’s plan becomes clearer with time.3)Romans 8:28 becomes clearer with time.If your vision is cloudy and the reasons why you are facing your difficulties are unclear, just wait for Jesus’ second touch! Life will become clearer with time.
